With all the wood pieces sanded and trimmed down it was time to begin staining.
I've tried plenty of different stain manufacturers but my go to brand is still Miniwax. There just seems to be alot more pigment in the stain.
This is why I had to label each piece when I started this project.
Getting there! Day 1 of staining.. a few of the components will get a second coat of stain tomorrow night to achieve the contrast I'm going for. But so far so good.
