I make you make

Just got in a new zine from artist Hellen Jo. Pretty minimal but so awesome at the same time. I love getting mailed packages for the USPS. Sometimes I don't know if I like the envelope more than the actual contents. There's something magical to me about how people write your name, the stamps they choose to use and the envelope it self. There's a tangible existence to it and it has a brief physical history. This little thing took a little journey, it had to get past some obstacles to get to me. Email has it way too easy.

I never met Hellen Jo but she seems pretty kick ass!  Too bad I didn't get to see her work in person when she was a local.
