Went out to Modern Eden Gallery this past weekend to see a really good solo show of Chelsea Brown's latest works. Definitely a show to see up close. Great works up.
For me her graphite drawings are really where they're at. Here a few of my favorites.

Horned Creeper (photo courtesy of artist/gallery) Probably my favorite piece of the show. The shaded bands in the arms and the bat's transparency in its wings deserve a good examination.
Triplet Glory Bleeders (photo courtesy of artist Chelsea Brown) If you're in the North Beach area in SF, you should really stop by to see the works. The show is up til August 5th.
