Moving forward on the Bulletin project. Picked up some materials and began the build out.
Using mainly wood for the project. Trying to keep the weight and costs down. Picked up these nice wooden balls at the The Hobby Co. of SF. 3/4" wooden dowels will make up the posts and 1/4" oak for the rest.
The basic layout before cutting out the text. The base piece is where it will be secured later on.
Laser cutting the text out of the main panel. I'm thinking of keeping the text open and allowing the rear environment to show through.
Now that the main panel is cut, it's time to glue parts together. Didn't have extra wide clamps so green painters tape will do
