Putting together the puzzle pieces that make up the Soundwave cutout. After checking the alignment, everything seems to be fitting just right.
Can never go wrong with some industrial double sided tape, aka banner tape.
Some of the acrylic on non painted acrylic pieces were joined with acrylic cement. This stuff is really thin.
A bowl or two of Captain Crunch definitely helps in the late night hours.
A few hours later and Soundwave is almost finished built. Under each overlapping piece of acrylic I had to remove its layer of colored vinyl in order to have light properly pass through each piece. Easier said than done. But the effect it has is worth it. Next I'll test out how it lights up.
