I make you make

 Time to route out the NES cartridge.

Months ago when I was  having ideas about this project I knew only this game would do.

Aligned in place and taped down for more extra security.

After the dust particles had settled a successful cartridge emerged.

Cleaning up some of the edges where the decal was frayed.  There will be alot of details cleaned up in order to make everything fit just right.

So this is the idea.  It'll be a little tricky finding or making the miniature light source needed to illuminate the piece.  There's not much room in the cartridge for much hardware.  Time to make the letters now... having fun.
