Been away for a moment. Been taking care of some side projects. One of which has been helping my good friend Terrance Hughes with a framing/hanging system for some drawings he has created for his solo show this coming Saturday in Brooklyn NYC at Graphite Gallery. If you're around check it out.
So this was the original idea we came up with a few weeks ago.
The routed out pieces with exposed magnetic hardware
The physical breakdown. The face piece attaches to the back via magnets which sandwich the drawing which is held in place by screw caps that go through grommets in the top corners of the drawing. Lots of fine tuning went into this minimal hanging system. Hope it all works out just as planned. Wish I could have been there my friend. Good luck Terrance.
